Intro

Thanks for stopping by! I am a research economist and adviser to policy makers. I study how science, money, culture, and politics affect economic development.

I have published 30+ papers in major journals such as American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Economic Journal, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of International Economics, and Review of Financial Studies. My work has been cited by media outlets such as Bloomberg, The Economist, Financial Times, and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

On RePEc, I am ranked in the top 1% in the world in the past 10 years, and as one of the top Bulgarian research economists.
